The Reception Series of 25 books includes foundational spellings beginning with CVC words, progressing to words with adjacent consonants, consonant digraphs, suffix instruction and common vowel digraph spellings.
The Year 1 Set 1 introduces 10 key spellings, covering complex vowel digraphs and morphology from Units 9 and 10.
The Year 1 Set 2 introduces 10 key spellings, focusing on vowel digraphs and morphology from Units 11 and 12 Part 1.
The Year 1 Set 3 introduces 10 key spellings, focusing on long vowel spellings and morphology from Unit 12 Part 2 and ending spelling patterns from Unit 13.
